Museum in the Village: where cultural heritage meets well-being!
The Museum in the Village takes the spotlight on “Rural Vision,” the official platform of the European Union, promoting well-being in rural communities. Tailored for residents aged 65 and above, the program links 13 museums and villages across Portugal. Each community hosts a masterpiece from the museum, fostering connections between art, the museum, and local heritage. Through collective artistic efforts, participants weave local elements into their creations. The project culminates in 13 temporary exhibitions, celebrating art through openings and performances that strengthen community bonds.
